Weekly Fantasy Football Leagues Tips

Are you part of the weekly fantasy football leagues? Are you obsessed about being the top man in your weekly fantasy football leagues? Follow our advice and you will come out on top of our weekly fantasy football leagues. Plus, we also give you tips on how to enjoy being part of your weekly fantasy football leagues. Good luck!

Tip # 1: Be active in your league. If you give your commitment to the league, you have to see it through the end. Why? It is very inconsiderate that you join a league only to leave the other players in a bind because you could not commit to it. There is nothing more annoying than playing the game with someone missing and that player has drafted good football athletes.

Tip # 2: Be on the lookout for contract year. So what is contract year? Contract year is also known as the contract year bump. In all of the types of fantasy sports, the contract year bump is an important factor, especially in football. It is when a player is at the end of his contract the he shows his best. It is how he dangles his calling card to get a bigger salary. So, if you see a player or a superstar player at the end of his contract, trust that he will be motivated to perform really well.

Tip # 3: The defense is important. When it comes to drafting, you have to get a whole unit. You also have to get backup bench players, especially for your defense.

Tip # 4: Take it easy and have fun. Winning in fantasy football is important, but it is something that you do out of fun (and maybe a little money, which is okay). So, make the most of it. And even if you are committed to winning, do not take the whole deal too seriously. Taking things easy is very important. Do not let your passion for the game get the better of you. Also, avoid trash-talking with your opponents or if someone is doing that, do not take it personally. At the end of the day, it just a game.

Tip # 5: Going with your gut is okay. Although, one thing you have to remember is you also have to do your homework. You should familiarize yourself with the teams, the players, the statistics and the injury reports. Be familiar with the numbers and the history. However, at the end of the day, the decision that you make should also be based on your gut feeling. That gut feeling is sometime the source of pride for fantasy players.
